This year, we are heading to Beaumont Scout Reservation (6480 Beaumont Reservation Dr, High Ridge, MO 63049).  Beaumont is off Hwy 44 at the Antire/Beaumont exit.  The picnic will be an open schedule for you and your Scout to explore Cub World.  Please park in the lot next to the Cub World building (just past the ranger station when you pull into Beaumont).  You can cross through the creek or use the small bridge to the far right of the parking lot to cross the creek and join the fun.  

Please bring the following items with you to the picnic....

-lawn chairs

-picnic lunches for your family

-water bottles/drinks for the day

-appropriate close-toed shoes for the creek and hiking

-a flashlight for each person touring Mudd Cave

-old clothes for Mudd Cave (they will probably get stained from the clay mud in the cave)

-sunscreen

-bug spray

We have Mudd Cave reserved at 1:00pm, so please make sure you are ready at Cub World by 12:45 if you want to explore the cave.  We will be hiking a short distance to the cave.

Just a reminder that alcohol, tobacco/vapor use and pets are not allowed on Scout properties.
